Serein: Breathe & Reflect (“Serein,” “we,” “our”) is designed to support calm moments through breathing, grounding, reflection, and offline tools. We take privacy seriously and designed the app to work without accounts and without collecting personal data.

Summary 

• We do not collect or sell your personal data.

• Your journal entries, mood check-ins, and favorites are stored locally on your device.

• If the app crashes, Apple may provide crash diagnostics to help improve stability.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data (such as name, email, location, contacts, photos, health data, or identifiers) for tracking or advertising.

Data You Create in the App

Serein includes features like journaling and mood check-ins. Content you create is stored on your device for your use inside the app.

 

Note: Depending on your iOS settings, your device may back up app data (for example, via iCloud or computer backups). This is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by us.

Crash Diagnostics

If the app crashes, Apple may provide crash reports and diagnostics information to help us fix bugs and improve reliability. This information is used only for app quality improvements.

Notifications (Daily Check-In Reminder)

If you enable reminders, the app uses local notifications on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server and do not store notification data on our systems.

Third-Party Services

Serein does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not perform third-party tracking.
